How can I maintain control of my billing if I outsource?

You may in fact have greater control! You may acquire access to the billing system and be able to monitor real time activity on your accounts. Right now the in-house “control” is basically because you can see the person that is doing your billing. Are you seeing the results? PPI also will provide you with detailed reporting on your charges, collections, insurance adjustments and your denial reasons, providing you the opportunity to decrease denials and increase collections.

How am I saving money by outsourcing?

Your current in house cost for billing includes: staff (including overtime for billing work), supplies, space for the billing department, system and technology costs. Practice Partners can bring you a state of the art billing system, we provide the billing staff and our efficiencies provide a systematic approach to all billing functions.

Will I have a drop in collections during a transition?

Practice Partners has a proven track record for smooth transitions. Our detailed plan includes appropriate planning for claims filing agreements, system set up and testing and a plan for working the existing accounts receivable.

I have an investment in the billing system I previously purchased. Will I lose that investment?

Practice Partners will evaluate your system. If the system is up to date and functional for all billing activity, we will submit a proposal on using your system for the billing.
